I have this connecting an Oppo DVD player to a Panasonic Plasma TV and it is sending a high quality signal so far. I haven’t had any problems. It looks and feels heavy duty. A better deal than name brand and/or store bought HDMI cables, too.

I have purchased 5 of these HDMI cables. They are great quality for the price. I have unplugged these and plugged them back in multiple times without having any problems like some of the other reviewers. They provide a great picture and audio quality. These compare with the more expensive cables at almost 50-70% less cost.

1 Star Disappointed
The connector on the cable broke the first day. I inserted it on my 42 plamsa TV to test the connection before I hung the TV. When I removed the cable I noticed the brass connector was stilll in my TV. I am returning it for a refund.

1 Star Just like disappointed…BUT WORSE
Well, just like disappointed, my brass connector also broke. This is worse, BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY IN MY WALL!!! I now have to pay to have a new cable put in the wall.

1 Star i cant believe it broke on me!
hi everyone, i have to post a bad review. the cables look GREAT…they look strong and quality. BUT! after i took them off a couple times to move them from my ps3 to my dvd player to another room, the fricken gold clip part of the hdmi connector broke off. its only been like a month! i swear im a real buyer. if you buy these cables and arent going to need to move them around i suppose their find. but the build quality is totally made in China! well be warned you get what you pay for.

4 Stars Great but not for LCD
This product is a great tool. This HDMI will bring out the truest black in a HDTV. The only problem I have is that I have an LCD and it doesn’t have true black. So when you have a movie in the screen will be darker than usual. Overall 4/5 for LCD, and 5/5 for Plasma (probably).

I ordered the Cables Unlimited 10 meter 1.3 HDMI cable and received a Cables Unlimited PowerStrip extender (1 male plug two female extenders)instead! Very frustrating! But AMAZON agreed to overnight the replacement cable…still it is interesting that I’m the second person to receive the incorrect item when ordering this cable! See other review.

2 Stars Wow, it froze my laptop.
I didn’t think this was possible, but when i plugged the cable into my MacBook Pro and into my LCD TV and IT FROZE MY LAPTOP. At first I thought it was a fluke, so I tried it again, but it did the same thing. I’ve requested a replacement and am hoping that the 2nd one will work, otherwise I am going to go for another brand altogether, maybe the belkin or xtrememac or philips one.

I have an older Samsung HLN5065W1X/XAA 50″ DLP TV with a DVI-D interface. Unfortunately, HDMI was not the standard HD interface when the TV was produced in 2003. Fortunately, the HDMI video standard is compatible with the DVI video standard. The only exception to this is in terms of audio. The HDMI standard supports both video and audio transport. The DVI standard only supports video. As a result, I have to run a separate set of audio rca cables to any device I want to connect (eg DVD player). This product provided exceptional functionality at a fraction of the cost of other comparable cables. I only experienced one negative aspect. Out of the box, the DVI-D end of the cable did not fit the specific form factor of my HLN5065W1X/XAA’s DVI-D interface. I had to trim down the rubber edges slightly with a modeling knife. The DVI-D end is heavily protected. As a result, the modifications did not affect the shielding or performance in any way. This slight inconvenience was well worth the monetary savings.

i am what most people call a audiophile but i am not one to spend $100’s of dollars on a single cable and this is definitely one of those cable that is a very good quality for the dollar

There’s not all that much you can say… it’s a well built cable with a decent thickness, seems very well shielded and results in no interference. You can’t beat the price.

I combined this with a 3.5mm extension cable and can now connect my laptop to my stereo.
